Paul's Midlife Crisis

 Went to visit Paul's house, but I was surprised to find he just bought a baby bear! It was as chaotic as you might think, breaking things are everyone trying not to get hurt.

Fallout Kid Rock Style

So, on to my dream last night.  I was playing a lot of Fallout 4, so it was basically as if I was playing it/in the game.  I don't remember how I ended up in the room, it may have been a double cross, regardless I was in a room with a guy point a gun to my head.  Remember, it's like I was in game, so he tells me to get in that pit over there on my back and say, "Bawitdaba da bang a dang diggy diggy diggy"  So... testing the limits of the game I walk near the pit, lay down, when my avatar starts singing that one part in a loop (I'm guessing it only half recognized me being in the pit).  The weird part is every time I said it my words got more jumbled (if that's even possible) depending on what I was looking at.  So, it was funnier at the time :P Anyways, I think i laughed myself awake.  Good times.

Second Life

So, this dream really begins at the end.  I'm with my mom in some big city talking with her and a few other people.  When all the sudden we see two giant waves coming towards us from opposite directions, destroying everything in its path.  We seem to have a few seconds, so mom and I look at each other, hug, and say that we love each other.  The water didn't come in a huge crash, but gradually, then the rest must have come in a large wave because all of the sudden we were all under water.

While under water I felt something strange, I thought, maybe this is the spirit comforting me as I go, but at that time we all started sinking fast and had lights glowing from our chests.  The next thing I remember, I was standing with the same people in a cave-like area.  It was night, but there were enough lights so I could see everyone.  I'm holding two sticks, one in each hand.  I overhead that those who have gone through the process enough times remember what happen and come through the process with the 2 sticks.  Those who haven't gone through as many times come through with one stick.  I noticed mom had one stick and had the mentality of a child.  She also must have overheard the conversation, because she broke her stick in half so she could be like me.  I chuckled, then began to look around.

It wasn't long before I noticed we were prisoners. We were locked in a cage, with plenty of soldiers on watch.  We immediately sprang into action.  We broke the lock, I took mom and crouched through the shadows.  As we made our way through a van drove by, used some sort of ray gun that shot out rings around the prisoner that probably teleported him into the van.  I tried getting mom to hide in a large tube until the van passed, but she was scared and refused to go in (there was a spider web in there to be fair).  So, plan B, we run.

Some other guy decides to join us, so we get by all of the soldiers and vans and around the corner we find a giant wall filled with bright colors, lights, and decorations.  It is also divided into sections of what seemed like holidays, each with a slide going who knows where.  One of their leaders had then seen us, so we made our way to what looked like the Christmas wall.  The guy jumped in first, then I helped mom in, then I went in, but didn't slide down yet so I could get some information from the bad guy before I went.  He warned me that going into these worlds too many times could be dangerous.

After sliding down things got strange and turned into and old time video game.  I went through and distributed weapons and armor among the three of us and off we went.

Analysis:  Maybe some relation with the 3 of us kids, Sean, Sarah, and I.

The Cure

I do not have any powers or abilities, but I am an action hero. The dream starts with me being captured by the main bad guy. He had me hooked up to a machine that literally rips the skeleton out of your body. Yeah, pretty gross. So, he makes his long bad guy speech, turns the machine on, and walks away laughing maniacally. 

I feel the pain of the machine separating bone and flesh. The pain intensifies until I feel a great tear and I see my skeleton creeping away from me. "I'm still alive!," I thought. I needed to get my skeleton back fast though, because I didn't know how much longer I had. Without bones I was able to slip through the contraption. I mustered all my strength and pushed myself into the skeleton. I was whole, but weak, bleeding, and fragile.

I needed a surgeon. I took down a guard to get out of the room, and luckily we were in a hospital! I asked the receptionist where the operating room was, she said the 14th floor. I got on the elevator, but while on the elevator someone said it was in the neighboring building. When I got off, another man followed me and attacked me. I got his gun away from him, but all I could find for a weapon was a pen. With a few well placed jabs he was out. I checked to make sure I didn't break any major seems, but I appeared to be OK.

When I got to the next building, I saw a man in a mirror who looked similar to me but older. He was mouthing something, but I didn't understand. I went to the other side, he said to go to the bathroom, the cure would be in there. I found the bathroom, and the cure which looked like a thermometer with a packet of liquid attached. 

About that time the man entered and said I was two minutes late. I thought maybe it was me from the future, but couldn't be sure. I took the medicine, and he told me I would be fine, but they would be after me and I had to escape.

That's where the dream ended. I'm sure I got out and exacted my revenge. ;)

The Legend of the Mexican Gila Monster

Temple Drug Tester
Ok, so yesterday was my first day working in the oquirrh mountain temple, sooo.... it's not my fault.  Disclaimer, the temple is NOTHING like this, this was just a dream, so if you want more information check out http://www.mormon.org/faq/use-of-temples .  Ok, so basically I was assigned with someone else to select random people for drug tests.  Yeah, it was very strange, and I remember at one point someone (I think from my ward) stood up and called out two people in the front who she said would very obviously fail the test.  When she said that, they made their way out of the temple and we walked with them (kind of like a walking chase) out of the room.  End, I know, boring, but thought it was strange.


10 Min Bathroom Blitz
Ok, another short strange one to waste your time.  So, we were on a 10 minute break from something.  I went down to the bathrooms (because I had to go!), but they didn't say which was Mens and Womens. So, I chose one.  I saw a ton of stalls (like 100), so I thought it might be the womens, but at this point I didn't care.  Shortly after a bunch of guys slided in on discs raiding the girls bathroom (of course the stalls kind of disappeared and it was all clean playful fun).


The Legend of the Mexican Gila Monster
This one is actually a full story.  It starts with me and Sean in Mexico somewhere where I served my mission.  Sean ordered something, but it had black stuff on it, so I asked if it was from black beans or mole (even though mole really isn't black).  They said black beans and I continued to tell Sean about how much I didn't like mole, and asked if I could see the container just so I could look through the ingredients,  but I wasn't hungry.  A young Mexican girl came a sat by us.  Sean told me to be careful of the young ones, because they usually speak English, but I said I knew her from the mission.  The server came back and said some stuff in Spanish, but I had a hard time understanding.  He came back a little later with a green drink.  My brother didn't want it, and afterwards the Mexican girl explained that he offered us a kale and liver drink and I said sure, UGH! Too bad he didn't drink it! :D

As we left the restaurant, I realized I left my keys where I was sitting, and I saw someone else about to sit in my seat, so I quickly reached down and got them.  There were now 3 girls and Sean and I walking.  And I asked Sean where the car was because I didn't have my wallet and felt that I should.  Sean said it was quite a ways away, but he wanted to get something from it too, so he and the cutest girl (don't judge :P ) went out to the car.  The other 2 girls were still plenty cute, so I was still happy.

We were by the beach, so I thought, hey, let's go swimming!  I love the beach! :D  They said it probably wasn't a good idea because it was a reverse tide.  Uh... Ok.  I didn't understand, but didn't argue either.  I soon noticed that waves were coming in from both directions, like we were on a small beach or peninsula.  The tide quickly rose, and I found a tall rock and where the girls and I could get a sure footing.  Luckily no more waves came in and the water receded.

When we got back on the sand, people were strewn all over the place.  We then heard screams coming from the north and saw a 10 foot tall Gila Monster.  It was moving lightning fast and eating people left and right.  It was coming our way, so I made sure the girls were safe before climbing for safety myself.  I started climbing right as the Gila Monster got to us, so it was focused on me.  I climbed as fast as I could, but it caught up to me.  And its head was level with mine, I got a firm grip with my left hand and used my right to land several solid punches.  Eventually it fell and I dropped down to make sure it was dead.

Dream Ending speculation: One of the cute girls says, "Oh my hero!" and we live happily ever after :P

Dreams a-plenty

Ok, so for some reason my body wanted to sleep for like... 15 hours and have some strange dreams, so... here we go!

Moving Day
So, I really hate moving.. This dream starts out with me packing and trying to get ready for a flight in time.  I remember using Sean's present, a very expensive frying pan.  As I pick it up I noticed some wear on it and feel guilty about using it.  I'm trying to rush it, but my flight leaves in an hour and it seems hopeless.  That's about it, I probably don't make it :(  but it's just a dream!

Second Mission Chaos
So, for some reason I dream often I'm on a second mission.  This time our apartment is my home, and there's quite a few of us there.  My trainer from my first mission, Sean, Johnathan Robinson, and some others including the previous missionaries from the area.  We were taking the day off and slacking for some reason.  One of the elders was making calls and I was playing on the classic gameboy with the green screen.  I'm messing around with the volume so that it doesn't disturb his calls.  One of the previous missionaries for the area comes by and tells us some things about the area.  He tells us about one family to get close to because they give us a lot of stuff (what kind of missionaries ARE we!?).  For example, he shows us this strange fruit.  Cause, I'm all about those strange fruits :P

So, after a while the dream shifted and we were under attack by 1-foot tall shadow creatures.  These shadows especially went after virgins, oh goodie!  So, I remember trying to escape them and we ended up at the provo mall.  Unfortunately another short ended dream

Bonus
Ok, I know this one's strange, but it was almost like I was watching a youtube video more than actually being there.  So, I think a bunch of guys were playing football and this one guy gets hit really hard.  Uh, so hard in fact his legs are torn off.  He doesn't seem too phased by it though.  He then reaches for his legs, shoves them back in his sockets and trys to walk on them.  Everyone's trying to stop him, and they eventually do to get him to the hospital.

Home and Camping

Visiting Home
So, I don't remember a lot about this one, but I do remember being in Long Beach visiting home.  Sean and dad were there and I remember talking about a new Mexican restaurant that was just amazing that we had to visit!  Dad also did something... strange.  He had set up all of these foil balloons tied outside on tree branches to get a better signal (for what, I don't know).  Anyways, dad opens up the trunk of his Toyota Celica and takes out this foil balloon with a really long string to get an even better signal.  Odd, but that's all I remember.

Hiking and Charity
So, I remember being out camping or hiking with my brother and dad and a few others.  That somehow turned into a collection to support orphans.  We went around getting collections and putting them in a piggy bank, then we hiked up to the house.  All the children were outside, so we brought the piggy bank and put it in their room while they were away.  I slipped a 5 in there as a last donation.  I remember just talking with a few people, mom appeared and started making suggestions on how to use the money for the children, I remember pizza night :P

While we were talking some wild bunnies came by (about 3), and they were cute, but kept biting and nibbling at us.  Someone decided to get a blunt object, club them, and make a stew!  Haha, it was sad to actually see him club the bunnies, but for them it was going to be a huge feast!

Mix

Murder Mystery

1. I was helping dad set up a murder mystery.  He was talking about hidden clues in a stationary bicycle, but what he really wanted me to do is pick up bread for the dinner.  

Bubble Pipe

The other one was me at work after a long time at work, and what I really wanted to record was seeing Aaron Wright there.  He was trying to give up smoking, so he carried around a bubble pipe, haha, I could totally see him doing that :P

Guns, Escapes, and Girls

Ghost Recon Phantoms Dreamworld
So, it was as if I was playing Ghost Recon Phantoms, but I was and actual player.  We were on the map attica, I went downstairs and saw a guy up the stairs at their entrance.  I shot and hit him 2 or 3 times, at which time he dropped to the floor as to be out of view.  I also laid down and waited for him to peek his head, when he did, POW, game over.  When the game ended I took off my helmet and went upstairs to be social.  I noticed one of the gamers was a cute girl telling everyone gg (good game).  So I went up to her and told her gg, but she didn't seem interested in me.  Story of my life :P

The Escape
We were all prisoners of a medieval group.  We were time travelers and needed to escape. There were about 10 of us, but we needed to wait for a certain time to activate the portal.  We made our way to the where the portal would be opened and I took watch at the front entrance which was a narrow path with a door at the entrance.  I pulled out my sword and waited.  I then thought we should take some girls with us (uh, kind of like Lehi and his sons I guess), so I opened the front door, and invited some of the other female prisoners to come with us.  Some came through, so I shut the door and waited.  When it was time, I went to the back where the portal entrance would open.

The portal opening device is a complicated contraption with many pieces that need to be put together.  I noticed they had waited to start putting it together until it was time to open the portal!  I scolded them for not putting it together while I was guarding and waiting. I made a quick attempted to help, and hurried back to my post.  Hopefully, I could hold them off long enough, but it was too late.  They had sent a bunch of women through the front door, hoping we wouldn't have the guts to fight them. I thought, it's us or them.  The first woman came up and I fought her.  I got 2 good slashes in and she retreated.  I stabbed the second girl pretty quickly and they all retreated.  I went back to see how the portal was going, but I notice a huge army coming in through the back entrance.  They got through the door and we were done for.

I jumped over the railing and down into the street.  I started running, but for some reason couldn't run very fast, so I used my hands and legs to get into the town housing area, running through people's houses.  I woke up, but they probably killed me :P

YSA Activity

I showed up to a massive YSA activity using a huge stake center.  I saw dad there, and he suggested I take off my suit coat.  I had a vest on underneath, so I still looked pretty good (I was probbably dressed for doing something before the activity). I took my suit coat to dad's car and went inside.  The curtain was pulled in the gym as to separate it into two separate rooms.  I mingled with a few people, I remember talking to Paige Higgins Foutz.  She gave me the cold shoulder, so I went to talk to others, realized I had my glasses on, so I took them off and was about to head for dad's car to put them there, at which time I woke up.  No numbers :(

Deception and World Destruction

So, I don't remember these very well...

Deception

So, I was in some secret organization, and the number 2 was putting together some sort of demonstration at a church building.  I didn't feel quite right about it and the more I found out, the less I wanted to be a part of it.  The first time I tried to escape I did it quietly, but they brought me back.  The second time I was a bit more dramatic :)  I went up to the registration desk, jumped on it, and kicked I think a computer off the table and bolted.  I found the number 1 and told him what was happening.  I said now that I thought about it, number 2 seemed to have more gray hair.  He confirmed that he had a twin with more gray and dis-shoveled hair.  Together we went back to stop them, but I can't remember what happened next.

World Destruction

It begins in outer space, just outside the Earth's atmosphere.  I chubby strange little alien, let's call him Zorb, was plotting with his minion on how he was going to destroy this planet.  He was bragging about all the other 100's of planets he had destroyed previously.  He finally decided to plague the Earth with a terrible virus.  However, as he descended, he was surprised by the atmosphere, never encountering something like this before.  Luckily it burned up the virus and he landed near where we were residing.  

Here I lived with my friend, let's call him Cyrus.  We met Zorb in a swamp-like area filled with much water. So, how do you convince and an alien not to destroy your planet?  You show him Earth literature of course!  So, we took a canoe to the library where Cyrus showed him a bunch of books.  He would occasionally ask me about a book, and I would usually respond that I've read it and it was good.  For some reason we decided to move on.  Cyrus told me to fetch the canoe that floated down a bit.  As I got it I could see huge fish below.  We went back to the mainland where I saw Cyrus was actually a reindeer.  (I'm sorry, but this part is due to a stupid movie called blizzard).  So, when we got to the mainland, Cyrus picked up his cloak and headed out into the woods.  As he did so, he became invisible.  Zorb made some remark and then I woke up.

Mini Revolution, the Wonder Years

I'm a little backed up, so let me just zip through these:

Mini Revolution
At all began with the grand council, or guardians of our world.  We had gathered together to defend ourselves against a great evil approaching our boarders.  There were about 8 of us planning how to defend ourselves.  The next thing I remember is living in an abandoned corner near a park with another of my closest friends who was also a guardian.  Everything else seemed about the same except for lines of guards that resembled the guards in the Wizard of Oz.  We sneaked around them, towards a gathering place.  At about this time I noticed that we were only about a foot tall, which was probably a spell put on us during the war I realized we lost.  Many of us guardians that gathered at first gathered once again in a tree.  We needed to take back what was ours!  Some of our spy's had learned the inner workings of the castle nearby where the enemy lived, especially the schedules of those working there.  Our plan was to sneak in there acting as cooks and whatnot, kidnap the evil queen's daughter, hold her at knifepoint to the queen, where she would trade her life for our freedom!  The vision was clear in our minds as if it was a movie playing in front of us.  After the plan was proposed I knew what would really happen.  The queen would laugh at our offer, say go ahead, and kill us all.  About this time I woke up, so I didn't know how the rest played out.

Wonder Year Time Travelers
I don't remember much of this one, but I know it was a mix between wonder years and time travelling.  I was the main character, and I had the one friend.  I remember the locker room where we came back from time travelling.  There was the entrance/exit right in the locker.  I was waiting for my friend to go to a dance.  There my sweet love would be there, unfortunately with another guy.  Ugh, story of my life!!! Anyways, when we get there her and her date were being announced as King and Queen.  I don't think I was part of the presentation, but I grabbed the mike anyways, and began to introduce the King and Queen.  I started with Wendy.  I said, "Now introducing the fairest of the fair, the most beautiful sight that eyes have ever seen, the most precious name that lips have spoken, Queen Wendy!" And of course, cheers from the crowd.  I then in a sarcastic voice say, "and... this guy." as I gesture towards the slime with my hand on the word "this."  That's it, I'm sure I was given a stern talking to after the whole this was over, hehe.

Old Friends

So, in my dream it was my birthday!  Justin Snyder and Andrew Jenkins took me to an amusement park.  I went with Justin S. and we met up with Drew, but surprise surprise, Justin Allard my childhood friend was with him!  This was not a good surprise seeing as we left on bad terms (in my dream, not really).  Apparently we fought over a girl and it ended badly.

I was still happy to see him and went for the hug, though he accepted it, he was obviously not happy seeing me.  Anyways, I stayed close to him trying to rebuild our friendship which we somehow did!

I believe it was the same day, though it was icy and cold instead of the warm day at the park before.  After playing some volleyball we got into some mischief (I can't remember what we did), but the cops were chasing after us.  We thought it was funny because they couldn't maneuver in the ice, so we just let them chase us in my truck, haha.

We left the parking lot we were in, went up the road a ways, and Justin was going to let me drive when Dan from volleyball came up to us.  He told us turn ourselves in, because the police had locked up the volleyball courts and wouldn't let anyone play until we confessed.

I'm guessing we turned ourselves in, but I woke up before finding out.  I know, not a very interesting one, but I have a lot of fond memories with Justin and thought it was cool that I randomly had an adventure with him :)

Midnight Bagel Run!

So, I was spending a late night at home lying on the couch when Sean and dad are like, "you coming?" "Where?" I ask, "Bagel run!" they respond.  So, we get in the car and make our way to a nearby mall.  Only, this mall allows for cars to walk through instead of people.  We get to the Einstein Bros Bagels, but they close at midnight because the mall closes earlier than normal stores.  Since it's around 12:30am, we look around for other places we might be able to go.

We find a sushi place nearby, and dad gets an amazing plate of sushi, but only about a roll's worth.  I asked if he wanted to split, but he said to go ahead and get my own. When I asked for the same thing, I got about 5x as much, and it was soooo good!

We decided to walk from there, where we saw some girls walking by.  I noticed one is Kelli's friend April in Herriman 1st. ward.  They come over and flirt with us, April strangely goes after my dad.  I don't want any of this weirdness, so I leave them.  I overhear April saying, "I don't care how old he is, I just want to get married!"

Haha, ok, so they find a seminar or class or something (so late at night?), and I'm hanging near them, and find this guy.  Seems friendly enough.  We talk about what's going on, and he shows me around his room right next to the seminar.

I can't remember much after that.  I know he was building something which looked like stacked spray bottles, but I don't know if we did anything with them.

Girls and Groceries

So, this isn't exciting, I'm just recording because the more I do, the more I dream. And I had a few last night. 

First dream, I can't remember all of it (and I wish I did because this one was actually semi-entertaining. I do remember John and I running from a couple of girls. We got to a room where we could pull back a couple of partitions (like in a church building) just far enough to close them off, but keep John and I in the same room. The girl chasing me gave up, but John's girl was crazy! I climbed one of the positions to get a peek at her, but that's all I really remember.

Dream 2. So, it all started with bringing in some groceries. I was helping my mom, and thought I had everything (not realizing I missed some stuffed in compartments in the dash. Anyways, we ended up visiting some friends (Christenson's home near Lexington Jr High School) to give them a slightly eaten Apple... Yeah. On our way to the door we saw them on the porch, didn't notice anything unusual, but when let's call him Blue, opened the door, he was totally high and you could smell the smoke. He took the apple graciously and we left quickly.

I'm sure a good while later, mom noticed some groceries were missing, so she sent me to the car to get them. On the way one of my coworkers came up to me and was like,  "Hey, you're secondary on dss,  right? " so I told him to talk as we walked.

When we got to the car, we saw the food, but some of it had chucks eaten out of it. Then I saw the mouse! Okay, it was pretty cute. I wasn't scared, so I let it scurry off and that was pretty much the end of it.

Award Night

So, I don't remember enough of this one to be too interesting, but I do remember having some award night for me. It must have been church related because president Hinckley spoke and gave me three kisses on the forehead :)

After that I remember food, taking pictures with extended family members (me standing on my toes to be taller than others).

Also had a dream that Justin Whitney fell asleep with a lamp shade on his head. Jonathan Robinson fake shot him with his fingers really loud to wake him up, he did, lifted the lamp shade, then put it back on to go to sleep :)

Sweet Crushes

I had three dreams last night, however the middle one is too personal and I cannot share it.

Chocolate Factory

So I am with a crowd of people (probably ysa) touring a chocolate factory. The only room I remember is the soldier room. This room had every soldier and military chocolate mold ordered by rank. After walking around and setting all the chocolate molds, there were some sample chocolates. I remember eating a few, especially a cherry covered one which I could still taste after I woke up, yum!

The girl.

So, this one involves a girl I am slightly interested in. let's call her Abby. So the first thing I remember was doing some recreational activity and going to the showers. For some reason the girls followed us in there (Co-Ed maybe?).  Anyways, Abby was there and didn't seem to mind, so I just had my back turned and tried to get out as fast as possible.

We then got to our tents. She slept in one and I in the other. Maybe this one was divided girls and boys, who knows. So I wake to my alarm and get ready. When I enter the other tent they are all still sleeping. I wake up my mom and she's surprised that she slept in. I saw Abby, but chickened out and didn't talk to her.

I guess out next activity was a movie. I went with Justin Snyder, my old roommate, and I was hoping to sit next to Abby, but the theater was packed and it didn't look good.  They asked how many in our party. I was convinced that if we said one I could have a chance to sit next to Abby, but Justin said two and again I didn't speak up and lousy my chance for good this time. Goodbye Abby.

but the show must go on! We got in our seats, which was like an indoor stadium facing a stage with a glass semi circle behind it. The window looked out into the night sky and beautiful scenery. They darkened the window and started playing a movie.

Time warp! So both logically and illogically someone is on stage introducing our guests. The actors from princess bride! The girl, the farm boy, and fezzik. However when fezzik comes out, he takes of his skin (which turns out to be a costume) and guess who it is!?... Inigo Montoya! Haha, ok. So they start taking and they mention that next year Kirby will be their guest speaker. Woah! This causes gasps and whispers for those who didn't hear the announcement and to discuss how awesome it will be. 

They go on to perform their skit, while on the side you see a plush goomba (from Mario brothers) and I think it was a penguin trying to kill it. The plush penguin would try sliding into it, kicking plush green shells at it, and jumping on it, but nothing worked. Eventually he got a blue shell which he held onto and it whizzed him around like it would in Mario brothers under water. So I started singing the underwater theme from Mario brothers. The girls in the row in front of us laughed (I sure hope Abby was there!) and the penguin finally defeated the goomba.

Fin

Rachel, Sean and I were driving around and we saw a McDonalds. Rachel wanted to stop because she wanted to sell something.  When she got out I saw she left her book in the car, so I got the book for her and headed that way.

When I saw her I asked why she forgot her book because isn't that she was doing to sell to McDonalds? (everyone knows you can only sell books). She said no, that she was going to sell her pet, because Sean and her were going on vacation and nobody could take care of it.

She then proceeded to show me her pet. At different times in the dream it appeared as something different. it was either a baby hedgehog, porcupine, or some mix.  I said I had some interest on buying it. So Sean sent me a bill through email for 40 bucks if I wanted it. I must have thought it was a good deal because I bought it!

My new best friend! I remember swimming with him and he got tired and went under water. I quickly got him but somehow he was unconscious, so I pressed on his stomach and got a face full of water and baby spit up. Didn't feel or taste great, but at least he was safe.

I then was playing with him at home, but Sean, Stuart, and 2 other friends were there. I don't remember much of what happened, but my pet and I definitely felt in the way. I said that I could go to another room if they wanted and they said that would be great :p so I did.

That's about it! Maybe came from Sean and Rachel's baby... Just don't tell him! Or her... :p
